Samsung SSSP 2-3
Factory Reset
Check the status of the screen.
If the screen is new and has not been previously used or the Factory Reset has already been done, skip to step 2. Otherwise, perform the Factory Reset.
How to do a Factory Reset
Turn off the screen by pressing the Power Off button on the remote.
Once switched off (LED indicator is steady red), press the following combination of buttons: Mute, 1, 8, 2, Power On.
After this, a menu should appear. Use it to take the following steps: Options > Factory Reset > Factory Reset
The screen will restart and display the boot setup menu.
Firmware check
If the screen was already installed, you need to know the current model and firmware version. To do this, follow these steps:
Press the Menu button on the remote control and, on the screen, select Support.
Then go to Contact Samsung, and the model and software version will be displayed.
Each model works with specific firmware. Compare the one you have installed with the one that corresponds to it according to the table below.

If the screen’s current firmware version is lower than it should be, by simply downloading the correct version from the table, it will overwrite the screen’s current version. If the screen’s version is higher, you must first perform a downgrade and then upload the right version.

Example
You see that the screen has version 1040.2 and, by looking it up in the table, you can see that you need version 1037. Therefore, you must first downgrade to version 0000 and then upgrade by downloading version 1037.
If the version is, for example, 1031, all you have to do is overwrite it with version 1037.
Note for D models
For D models, there are two steps to be taken in the support section, first with the firmware version and then with the Submicom version. This installation must be done with a USB device, and in the root directory there can be only one file at a time (firmware the first time, and Submicom the second) and no other folders or files of any kind.
To perform the Downgrade/Upgrade (with the pendrive inserted), go to Support > Software Update > Update now.
Initial screen setup
Select Menu Language = English.
Select Screen orientation = [Landscape | Portrait] (it is recommended to select landscape and rotate contents as required).
Disable Auto Power Off By default, one of the options is checked. If you click OK for this option, a dialogue box will be displayed where you can Disable auto power off.
Network Configuration If possible, configure the connection via ethernet cable. If this is not possible, configure it via WIFI.
Set Date and Time (IMPORTANT).
Installing the Admira Player
In the menu, find the option Play via URL or Start URL.
Select the option Change URL and enter the address:
http://install.admira.com/soc
It is very important to write all the characters. The validity of the URL may depend on Samsung firmware updates, so if it does not work, you must ask Admira Technical Support for an alternative URL for the application.
When these steps have been carried out, the installation of the Admira Player on the SOC and the initial screen setup have been completed. If everything has been set up correctly, after restarting the screen, the Admira Player will automatically run in the foreground, and the Login screen will appear to link the screen to your project.
DNS configuration
To enable correct screen connectivity, you must change DNS settings to Google’s:
Go to Home button > Network status > Settings. IP > Settings DNS
Manually enter, DNS=8.8.8.8
Additional settings
Finally, to achieve optimal screen operation during broadcast, you need to make a few last adjustments in the screen settings menu.
